Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift started dating each other in late summer of 2023. The couple instantly became the talk of the town. Swift was spotted at many NFL games featuring her boyfriend, including the last two Super Bowls. They made a major announcement about their relationship on Tuesday.

Kelce attended the 14-time Grammy winner’s Eras tour on July 8, 2023, months after clinching Super Bowl LVII. A couple of weeks later, the Chiefs TE revealed that he tried to get Swift’s contact number. Cut to Super Bowl LVIII, Taylor Swift, a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, was cheering for the 10-time Pro Bowler. The couple even celebrated the win on the pitch.
The power couple let the fans speculate details about their relationship for over two years before they casually announced their engagement. They posted a few pictures from their romantic engagement photoshoot on their Instagram handle.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift wrote on her.

After Kelce’s wild attempt to connect with Swift in July, rumors of their romance began circulating in September 2023 after Swift was seen attending several Chiefs games. Their relationship was confirmed in October 2023 when they appeared holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.
The couple then publicly cheered for each other. While Kelce travelled all around the world to attend Swift’s Eras Tour concerts, Swift was in the stands to root for her boyfriend as the Chiefs crushed their opponent en route to another Super Bowl.
The wedding plans will certainly motivate Kelce to lead the Chiefs to another Super Bowl. The Chiefs are set to kick off the 2025 NFL season against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5.
When will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce marry each other?
Swift and Kelce have not revealed any other details about their future plans. The three-time Super Bowl champion is entering his 13th and probably his final NFL season. With the 2025 regular season just two weeks away, it’s unlikely for the pair to tie the knot anytime soon.
The Chiefs’ star TE was not happy with his performance in the last two seasons and would like to cap off his glorious career with another Vince Lombardi Trophy. Swift’s new album “The Life of a Showgirl” is set to be released on October 3.
