Emails from 2013 reveal New York Giants chairman and co-owner Steve Tisch exchanged dozens of messages with Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted s*x offender, focusing on introductions to women years after Epstein’s 2008 registration as a Level 3 s*x offender.
The correspondence, part of over 3 million documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, shows Epstein acting as a matchmaker for Tisch, a Hollywood producer, while using coded language about the women’s backgrounds. Tisch’s name appears at least 440 times in the files.
Details of the Email Exchanges Between Steve Tisch and Jeffrey Epstein
According to The Athletic, the bulk of communications occurred in 2013, divided into key periods. In May, while Tisch attended NFL meetings, Epstein proposed a Russian woman, prompting Tisch to ask, “Is she fun?” Epstein followed up on meetings, noting one woman was “a little freaked by the age difference” but advising to “go slow,” with Tisch replying, “Nice report … Funny comment on crying!!!”

June exchanges grew explicit, with Tisch inquiring if women were “working girl?” or “pro or civilian?” Epstein described one as having a “10 a**” and “fake t**,” calling her a “civilian” who was “fun” despite lying often. Epstein facilitated lunches and dinners, sending post-meeting reports like “you did very well,” and the pair discussed “conquests” and shared interests.
By September, talks became more social as Tisch offered Giants suite tickets and Epstein invited him to his Caribbean island, though no evidence shows Tisch accepted, and called Tisch a “new but … shared interest friend.” A 2017 email had Tisch speaking “fondly” of Epstein, expressing a desire to stay in touch.
Steve Tisch’s Tenure With the New York Giants
Steve Tisch, 76, has co-owned the Giants with his family since 1991 and produced films like “Forrest Gump” and “American History X.” He accepted the Vince Lombardi Trophy after Super Bowl wins in 2007 and 2011.
Steve Tisch Makes Things Clear on His Relationship With Jeffrey Epstein
Steve Tisch and the Giants released a statement on Friday to address the matter.
“We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments,” Tisch said. “I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.”
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the matter during Super Bowl week: “We’re gonna look at all the facts… and we’ll determine if we open an investigation.”
