Nikola Jokic and Co. scored the Most points in a road game in franchise history, with 157 points. By scoring 82 points before halftime, the Nuggets recorded the second-highest scoring half in franchise history.

The 157 points also marked the highest total by any NBA team in the 2025-26 season so far and the sixth-highest single-game total in Nuggets history.

The Nuggets became the first team in NBA history to record over 150 points, over 60 rebounds, over 40 assists, and over 20 three-pointers.

Despite sitting out the entire fourth quarter, the Joker dropped 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in just under 30 minutes. He set the tone immediately with 19 points in the first quarter alone.

Jamal Murray added 25 points, six rebounds, and six assists, including four triples in the second quarter, to help blow the game open.

Denver shot 57.3% from the field and 51.2% (21-of-41) from three, dominating rebounds 60-36. The team made 21 of 41 shots from deep (51.2%). Tim Hardaway Jr. added 19 points and crossed the 2,000 career three-pointers milestone during the game.

Nuggets Crush Portland at Moda Center

Portland actually held a very brief early lead behind two quick threes from rookie Donovan Clingan, but that was the only highlight for the home crowd. Denver responded with a 13–0 run, kick-started by a Cameron Johnson fast-break dunk. Nikola Jokić was unstoppable, scoring 19 points in the first quarter alone. By the end of the quarter, Denver’s lead was already 14.

While Jokić rested a bit in the second quarter, Tim Hardaway Jr. kept the momentum with a pair of triples. When the starters returned, Jamal Murray set the court on fire, hitting four three-pointers in the period. The half ended in spectacular fashion as Murray was fouled on a three-point attempt with 0.4 seconds left and sank all three free throws. Denver’s 82 first-half points were the second-most in franchise history.

The Nuggets didn’t let up in the third quarter either, crossing the 90-point mark and pushing the lead over 30. Jokić displayed his full “Point-Center” arsenal, including a stunning transition pass to Julian Strawther for an easy layup. Denver’s lead increased to 40 points before the starters were finally pulled for the night.

With the result decided, Denver’s reserves continued the onslaught. Jonas Valanciunas provided an interior presence, and newcomer KJ Simpson impressed in his limited minutes. The lead eventually grew to a staggering 55 points before settling at 54.
