After two defensive commitments, the UConn Huskies bolstered their offensive unit on Sunday. Jason Candle and Co. landed a star running back from the transfer portal.

“Work time⚪️💙,” Hart wrote.

Hart joins Cyncir Bowers (West Virginia) and Trey Cornist (Central Michigan) in UConn’s RB room. He received offers from Boston College, Duke, Iowa State, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Purdue, among others.

What Jaden Hart Brings to UConn?

Jaden Hart provides the Huskies with physical downhill power-running capability. He is incredibly athletic with good speed and exceptional agility. His ability to function as both a runner and receiver gives Candle flexibility in offensive schemes.

He has a compact, robust frame design for short-yardage conversion. He seems more than willing to lower his shoulder and run through defenders. The running back arrives at UConn for more playing time.

UConn’s Running Back Room

Jaden Hart completes a three-deep running back rotation for UConn. The running back room now includes Hart, Cyncir Bowers (West Virginia), Trey Cornist (Central Michigan), and Kenji Christian (Toledo veteran). Hart’s power-running and receiving versatility pair well with Bowers’ explosive athletic profile and change-of-direction ability.
